Annie grew up in Vancouver, Canada and currently resides in Hong Kong as a full-time yoga teacher. She previously worked in the financial industry in Hong Kong and realized how stressful and competitive the culture is. Over the last five years of teaching yoga, Annie found her passion through helping her clients create a long-term healthy relationship with yoga. She is a firm believer in “ensuring a balance against high-stressed environment by using yoga as the yin (slow down) to the fast-paced lifestyle (yang)”.
Annie has always been fascinated with healing through yoga, which led her to pursue Advanced Teacher Training with Tiffany Cruikshank of Yoga Medicine. This course included specific focus on Shoulder, Spine and Hip from the Orthopaedic studies, Yoga for Athletes as well as Yin and Meditation. Annie teaches Prenatal Yoga and had the honour of introducing Yoga to the Hong Kong Rugby Team as part of their off-season rehab routine.
